E-Learning: Innovative Channel of Thai Cuisine and health benefit (Registration)

E-learning as the tool for learning Thai Cuisine and Health Benefit.


           Under the globalization, E-learning is a new channel  which is launched in order to facilitate Thai , foreigner chiefs and students in culinary school to learn about Thai Cuisine through internet.  This innovative channel could be an effective way to transfer knowledge on Thai Cuisine aboard with borderless.


            In this opportunity, Thai researchers team, from Kasetsart University in Bangkok would like to invite  Thais and foreigners who want to learn on Thai cuisine through e-learning attend  E-Learning: Innovative Channel of Thai Cuisine and Health Benefit The program will take  a half day with these following activities:


n  Demonstration how to use E-learning program on Thai cuisine.

n  Participants practicing to register and access to learn some part of the program

n  Demonstration of ready to eat and health benefit of Thai Food research product.

n  Having lunch with the Thai Ready to eat pack.

n  Question and Answer


1.      To promote Thai food  for Thai and foreigners as the healthy food

     2.    To introduce the E-learning program on Thai food for health

     3.    To taste Thai food ready to eat from the research product


 Date and Time.   


          The program  will performed by  Kasetsart University research team from 9 AM to 1:30 PM,  on November 23rd to 25th, 2010 (3 days), one group each day. The class limited only 30 participants a day.


The Participants.


          There are mainly 3 groups participants: Thai chefs, foreigner chefs, students in the TAFE NSW-Northern Sydney However,other persons who are interested in Thai Cuisine are also invited.


          The participants are welcome to attend the class without paying any fee. The program is including one coffee break and enjoyable lunch from Thai food research products. The learner who pass the criteria will get the certificate of achievement from the research project.

11.30 - 13.30                   Cooking demonstration of Thai food ready to eat product:

                                                -  Thai soup (western style ) , Tom Yum and Tom Kha

                                                -  Hor Mok Pla

                                                -  Khao Phad Tom Yum

                                                -  Khao Kaeng Kheaw Kwan

                                                -  Phad Thai

                                                -  Khao Niew Dum

13.30-14.30 AM               Enjoyable with Healthy Thai food lunch pack (from the research 
                                         product of the Institute of Food Research and Product Development, 
                                         Kasetsart  University)
